Health Innovation Reports (HIR) is committed to conducting a rigorous yet efficient peer-review process to ensure the timely publication of high-quality scientific work. Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment within 7 days to evaluate its relevance to the journal’s scope and adherence to submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this screening are then forwarded to at least two independent reviewers, selected based on subject expertise.

Reviewers are typically given 14 days to evaluate the manuscript and submit detailed comments and recommendations. In cases where delays occur, the editorial office sends timely reminders to facilitate an efficient process. After receiving reviewer feedback, authors are granted 2 weeks to submit a revised version that addresses all comments and suggestions. Final decisions on acceptance or rejection are made by the Editor-in-Chief or a designated editor following evaluation of the revised submission. Accepted articles are formally acknowledged and scheduled for publication in the next available issue.
